Pete is currently teaches students around the world about sports and microstock photography as an instructor for ppsop.com. In addition to a Gold Medal for a Portfolio.com Best Advertising Image in Show, other distinctions of note include his selection as one of Nikon’s “Legends Behind the Lens,” the selection of his rhythmic gymnastics image as an Olympic International Stamp, and a Gold Medal Award in Best Design from the Advancement and Support of Education.
A favorite ongoing project is an annual philanthropic calendar: this year for armsaroundbainbridge.com. Participants in the featured event swim a 29 mile relay around Bainbridge Island to benefit individuals or families in need. Past efforts include the Lisa Lund Calender to benefit breast cancer patients and research.
