Contemporary American photographer Alan Blaustein began as an art director for Bloomingdale's, went on to be a college instructor for 17 years and finally decided to venture out on his own. He prefers to shoot on cloudy days at dawn or dusk to create a nostalgic, ethereal mood for his signature sepia-toned prints of which Casa del Ray Moro is a prime example.
