The simple fact\nthat you\u2019re making a concerted effort to recognize and acknowledge their\nachievements is bound to improve morale and decrease your turnover rate.&nbsp; Both of those are good things, but it\u2019s easy\nto discount those words since there\u2019s no hard data behind them, so let\u2019s have a\nlook at that hard data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recognition is Hard to Ignore<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In a recent meta study conducted by <a href=\"https:\/\/risepeople.com\/\">Rise People<\/a>, it was discovered that, among other things, simply recognizing your employees\u2019 accomplishments on a regular basis will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Boot your profits by an average of $2400 per<br>employee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduce turnover rates by more than 25%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And boost customer loyalty by a staggering 233%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Those are compelling figures and they underscore a simple\nmessage that too many business owners miss.&nbsp;\nThe better you treat your employees, the better they\u2019ll treat you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recognize Each Employee Differently<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The modern work environment is changing.&nbsp; In decades past, when the Baby Boomer\ngeneration was the dominant force in the workplace, standard monetary\nincentives and a few perks like a preferred parking space or the occasional\ncasual dress day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.successories.com\/blog\/celebrating-milestones-why-it-matters\/\">work environment is dominated by Millennials<\/a>, who have different aims, goals and needs.\u00a0 Recognition is one of the major ones, and if you\u2019re not meeting those needs, they\u2019re almost certain to move on and find an employer who will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The good news is that setting up a recognition program is a lesson in simplicity.&nbsp;
