  2. Tell me about a specific accomplishment you achieved in your last position.<\/li>

  4. What goals have you set for yourself in your personal life?<\/li>
  5. If you could meet a celebrity right now, who would you be most excited about meeting and why?<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1 . The Question: <\/strong>\u00a0Tell me about three people whose lives you have changed for the better in some way.\u00a0 What would they say if I called them tomorrow to ask about you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Why It\u2019s Awesome:<\/strong> This feels like a lighthearted\nquestion, and in some ways, it is, but it\u2019s also incredibly revealing and will\ntell you a lot about how they see themselves and provide you with some solid\nexamples of the kinds of positive action they\u2019ve taken in their lives, and the\nimpact that it\u2019s had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. The Question:<\/strong>\u00a0 Tell me about a specific accomplishment you achieved in your last position that will shed some light on how you\u2019ll perform in this job?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Why It\u2019s Awesome:<\/strong> Want a quick and easy way to gauge\nthe level of knowledge and expertise that your current interview subject has about\nthe job he or she is applying for?  This\nquestion will give you that.  Plus, it\u2019s\na great way to acknowledge real life professional success because everybody enjoys\ntalking about the wins they\u2019ve had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. The Question:<\/strong>\u00a0 Tell me about a time when you disagreed with a colleague or manager.\u00a0 How did you deal with it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Why It\u2019s Awesome:<\/strong> At one point or another, everybody has a workplace disagreement.\u00a0 It happens.\u00a0 If your interview candidate should indicate that they\u2019ve never had one, push back.\u00a0 You really want to have a firm understanding of how your potential new hire copes with disagreements, because sooner or later, they\u2019re sure to happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. The Question:<\/strong>\u00a0 What goals have you set for yourself in your personal life, and what are you doing to achieve them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Why It\u2019s Awesome: <\/strong> This is a great question on a couple of\ndifferent levels.  First, it gives you\nsome important insights into who they are as a person, and second, it provides\nsome powerful clues about how organized they are and what kind of work ethic\nthey possess.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. The Question:<\/strong>\u00a0 If you could meet a celebrity right now, who would you be most excited about meeting and why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Why It\u2019s Awesome:<\/strong> \nIt\u2019s usually pretty easy to discern whether or not a candidate has the\nskills you need for the job opening you\u2019ve got available.  What\u2019s harder though, is figuring out whether\nthis person you\u2019ve never met before will mesh well with your company\u2019s\nculture.  This question will help clarify\nthat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
