However,\nachieving these results can be a challenge and requires a well-designed program\nwith clear measures of success and rewards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Consider Your\nOrganization<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>An incentive program may look much different for a new\nstart-up than for an older business. What are the specific metrics that you\nwish to reward, and how do employees demonstrate them?&nbsp;How is the program\ntracked? If rewards feel arbitrary, it can cause frustration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Determine a reasonable budget and include all\nemployees in the program. Encourage teamwork, and also a healthy dose of\ngood-natured competition with the right balance of team-based and individual\nrewards. Once it\u2019s in motion, continually monitor progress. What deserves a ticket, and what does not? If the\ngoals are still not clearly defined, they may need to be revised. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another critical part of a successful program is\ncommunication. This includes informing employees of the program\u2019s goals and\nrewards, and when monitoring the program, letting them know what is working and\nwhat is not.
