The case is very nice, I wish it was a little "heavier" however I have not purchased a pen like this before so I don't know if that is standard or not. It seems to be made out of tin(?) however I would purchase more, that would not stop me from buying another. I think it's more of a matter of opinion, none the less I love it. The pen is very pretty, very nice colors.
