The cost was quite minimal for a pen that conveys a good message. It is somewhat cheap in construction and looks, but I wouldn't expect any better for the cost.

We used these at the end-of-year party as a token gift for the division. Excellence is part of the division name, so these pens worked well and were cost effective for giveaways to a large group. Some of the functional parts (the clip, the spring, etc.) break fairly easily, and I've seen the pen fall apart while people are using it.
